Diploma in Human Rights
The Diploma Programme in Human Rights provides students with a holistic understanding of the mechanisms, systems and players that promote and protect human rights. This will be based on a historical overview of the theories and practices that have shaped contemporary human rights standards and the application of those standards in practice. Students will also have an opportunity to apply these standards in the Myanmar context and learn about other human rights regimes from different parts of the world. By grounding the programme in research and critical thinking, students will become self-directed learners who can successfully enter mid-level management roles or pursue further education to achieve their long-term goals.
